Nur Amalina Saparin
Amalina Saparin is an associate with Abdul Rahman Law Corporation.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the Singapore Management University in 2017 and was recently admitted to the Supreme Court of Singapore as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2018. She is fluent in both the English and Malay language.
Amalina focuses her practice mainly in the areas of Civil Litigation and Syariah Law. Her strong research and drafting skills is apparent in her understanding and grasp of various subject matters of the law ranging from contract law to defamation law, the tort of negligence to property law.
From your interaction with Amalina, you will learn that she is a good listener, one who is able to discern the real underlying interests of her client and one who is able to empathise with the issues faced by her client. Amalina is a strong advocate of alternative dispute resolution methods and strategies, as she believes that it is the best way to achieve a win-win resolution for both opposing parties, while saving time and costs, as well as avoiding the stresses involved in litigation. Do not be fooled by her calm and cheery exterior, Amalina is a force to be reckoned with in court due to her innate sense of competitiveness which she developed from playing competitive netball throughout her teenage years.
Additionally, Amalina also enjoys engaging in pro bono work. During her days as an undergraduate, Amalina had volunteered at Syariah Legal Clinics at the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations, as well as at the Community Justice Centre of the State Courts of Singapore.
Beyond her black and white ensemble, Amalina finds joy and relief in practising yoga, singing in her bedroom, and hunting for good halal eats around Singapore.
