Raj graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2016 and was called to the Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in August 2017. Raj joined ARLC as an Associate in December 2017.
Raj’s practice covers a wide range of contentious civil matters, including but not limited to contractual disputes, property disputes, defamation and negligence claims. He is experienced with a broad range of commercial and civil disputes resolved in the Courts of Singapore as well as by alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation in the Singapore Mediation Centre.
Raj has advised companies on corporate matters including matters specific to directors, ownership of companies, and corporate secretarial matters. Raj is well versed in commercial transactions, including sales and purchases of goods and services, guarantees, licensing, franchises and loans.
Raj has acted for and advised both companies and individuals on employment matters. As part of his practice, Raj is experienced with corporate and individual insolvency matters including companies’ winding-up and bankruptcy. Raj has experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, such as employment contracts, contracts of service and sale and purchase agreements.
Raj has had much experience in Intellectual Property Matters and considers it a passion of his. He has done IP Diagnostics consulting for SMEs under the ICV voucher/grant given by Spring Singapore.
Additionally, Raj has represented and advised clients in divorce matters, applications under the Mental Capacity Act, Personal Protection Orders, contentious probate matters and on the drafting and interpretation of wills and trust documents.
Raj is a lawyer that seeks to put his clients first at all times and to make sure that they leave satisfied.
